FOX Sports is working with a consortium of advertisers to stream live NFL games in its NFL mobile app, according to the company’s chief financial officer.

In a blog post Monday, the ad exec said the network is “launching ad-supported live games on NFL Mobile in the coming months.”

That’s a move that’s “not only a first for Fox Sports but a bold step forward for our network and our business,” the post read.

“We want to be the first to take advantage of our network’s incredible digital platform to deliver the best content to our loyal viewers.”

The ad-blocking service, which is set to launch on April 1, is available to download and watch on the NFL Mobile website.

Fox’s move comes after Comcast, DirecTV and Dish all said they would soon roll out ad-blockers to the NFL app.
